SUNY Oswego was in the path of the 2024 Solar Eclipse. An incredibly lucky event that happens fairly rarely. A committee was established to prepare for the influx of visitors coming to campus to witness the astronomical spectacle. They wanted a student to make a website for the occasion that would represent the school. I received the opportunity and began work on the Eclipse website. It was a great experience working with a committee of professors trying to bring the project to life. In the process, I learned a lot about putting information on a website and determining where goes what. There was constant active communication between me and the committee over specific details and information to be presented to the public. The final project resulted in an informative website that lives right on the University's servers.
